Technical Packages
I conducted thorough analyses of various garments to understand their construction, functionality, and design intent. I created detailed technical packages using Adobe Illustrator, incorporating precise technical drawings, measurement specifications, fabric and trim information, colourways, and stitching guidelines. These tech packs were created as if they were factory-ready - developed to ensure clear communication with manufacturers and enabling accurate sampling and smooth production processes.

Material Analyses
I performed comprehensive material analyses of various fabrics, including cellulose-based, protein-based, and synthetic fibres. I assessed fabric construction under a microscope to examine weave, knit, and fibre composition. I also conducted burn tests to observe fibre reactions and identify material properties. I evaluated fabric weight, texture, durability, and suitability for different applications in fashion and product design. This gave me a deeper understanding of textile behaviour and performance, allowing for informed decision-making in material selection and sustainability considerations.

In this project, I engaged in experimentation with calico fabric on a half-size mannequin to push my sewing skills to new levels. This hands-on experimentation gave me valuable insights into garment construction, fabric behaviour, and the balance between functionality and aesthetics.
